PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve appropriate image blur correcting performance by making a part to be moved light in weight, and to improve the reduction of power consumption, the reduction of manufacture cost and the improvement of controllability. SOLUTION: The image blur correcting device is equipped with a fixed member 1, an image blur correction means, a 1st driving mechanism 27 driving the image blur correction means in a 1st direction Y, and a 2nd driving mechanism 28 driving the image blur correction means in a 2nd direction X. The 1st and the 2nd driving mechanisms 27 and 28 are respectively attached to the fixed member 1, and at least the image blur correction means and the 1st driving mechanism 27 or the image blur correction means and the 2nd driving mechanism 28 are coupled through a coupling member 29 or 30. The coupling member 29 or 30 coupling either driving mechanism 27 or 28 and the image blur correction means is engaged with the driving part 31 or 32 of either driving mechanism 27 or 28 movably in the driving direction X or Y of the other driving mechanism 28 or 27.
