PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated iron core and its manufacturing method for forming an artful shape of a caulking section, deeply fitting a caulking protrusion into a caulking recess and possibly reducing a gap between the iron cores vertically adjoining each other. SOLUTION: In the laminated iron core laminated by the caulking section provided in an iron core piece, the caulking section is formed by V shape caulking 10, a slit 12 is provided in the V shape caulking 10 in the direction substantially orthogonal to folding lines 13-16, and a thickness b of the caulking section is smaller than a thickness t of a primitive plate of the iron core piece in the perpendicular direction.
