<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club with higher strength and durability than a conventional golf club and with excellent assembly workability. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club comprises a golf club head with a hosel part for fixing a golf club shaft, and a socket. The socket comprises a base part to be inserted into an opening of the hosel part and a flange part disposed at one end of the base part, whose outer diameter is larger than the inner diameter of the opening of the hosel part. Through holes are formed in the base part and the flange part respectively to pierce through them, and the golf club shaft is inserted into the through holes in the base part and the flange part.
