PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seamless belt for electrophotography which neither wrinkles peripherally nor gets stained during durability use, has superior durability and cleaning performance, and also has superior electrical durability and high quality, and to provide an image forming apparatus using the seamless belt for electrophotography. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the seamless belt for electrophotography which contains thermoplastic resin, a conducting agent, and laminar clay mineral and is characterized in that the inter-layer distance of the lamellar clay mineral found by X-ray diffraction is≥1.5 nm, and the image forming apparatus using the seamless belt for electrophotography.
