摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply sufficient amount of air to a duct 28 at the time of low air flow condition of a turbo fan 14. <P>SOLUTION: The air passing through a main flow passage 24 by the turbo fan 14 cools oil used in lubricating and cooling constituent parts 26 of the gas turbine engine. The duct 28 receives air from the fan 14 and is provided with an inlet 30 and an outlet 32. An oil line 34 communicating with the parts 26 passes through the inside of the duct 28. In normal engine operation, sufficient amount of air flows into the inlet 30 and flows out of the outlet 32 to cool oil in a heat exchanger 38 from which the line 34 is exposed. A valve 40 corresponds to an auxiliary air flow fan 42 for feeding air from a supply source 44 into the duct 28. When air flow is insufficient, the fan 42 is activated by a control part. When sufficient amount of air passes through the duct 28, the valve 40 is kept in a closed condition, and when amount of air is insufficient, the valve 40 is opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
