PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating type brake disc constructed with an energizing means having a higher degree of freedom in operation and being easy to assemble and with a braking rotor less liable to thermal deformation or deterioration even in repetitive braking operation. SOLUTION: The brake disc comprises the annular braking rotor 1 and a hub 2 arranged inside the braking rotor. The braking rotor is connected to the hub in the state of being energized in the axial direction by the energizing means 3. In this case, the energizing means serves as an axially operating plate spring. Restricting means 4, 5 prevent the dropout of the plate spring.
