PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ventilation tiles which allow smooth flow of air through the entire area of a gap defined by the tiles and a sheathing roof board. SOLUTION: There is provided a pantile having a ridge portion and a valley portion. A tile body 1 of each of the tiles mounted on the roof to cover the same has a communication hole 2 formed in the ridge portion at a location close to a tail side, for communicating between a space L on a rear side of the lower-side tile and a space H on a rear side of the upper-side tile overlapping the lower-side tile. Thus an air flowing passage communicating from an eaves edge to a roof ridge is defined between the tiles and the sheathing roof board R not only at the ridge portion but also at the valley portion after mounting the tiles on the roof, and therefore air is exhausted from the eaves edge or the roof ridge having a ventilation function.
