PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unerringly prevent a cut continuous paper returning into a printer from intruding into the printer without increasing the number of parts and complicating assembly work. SOLUTION: The printer adopts a structure to print the continuous paper 113 by a printing section 116 and cut the printed continuous paper 113 by a rotary cutter 117 and supports the cut continuous paper 113 by a discharge table 111 in the process of guiding and transferring the continuous paper 113 drawn out from a rolled condition along a guide route 114 with the inside surface faced downward. The printer is integrally provided with the discharge table 111 in a housing 107 formed of an elastic member, makes the discharge table 111 butt against a supporting frame 122 rotatably supporting both ends of a moving blade 121 by the elastic force of the housing 107 and manages the gap between the discharge table 111 and the moving blade 121.
