<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide various audio and character guide information, such as histories and explanations of and guides to objects (structures and buildings) and places of scenic beauty and historic interest encountered in travel and daily life, in a language selected by a user when and as the user asks, simply by means of local cellular phone and other communication networks rapidly expanding worldwide. <P>SOLUTION: A numeral group with a unique serial number added behind a zip code used in each region of the world is assigned to each object. A user dials a specific telephone number of an operating institution on a portable information device such as a cellular phone 1 and enters the unique number assigned to each object under audio or character guidance to receive guide information from a server of the operating institution in which guide information is entered about places of scenic beauty and historic interest, structures and the like. Even if historical origins and events of places of scenic beauty and historic interest and structures encountered in domestic and foreign personal and group travel, which are usually briefed as explanations posted near the objects and pamphlets, are explained in foreign languages that oblige most to relay on guides, who also explain information other than the briefs near the objects, this system helps them to receive guide information such as histories and explanations of objects easily in their languages without relying on guides. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
