PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reception apparatus inexpensively and speedily analyzing a reception signal frequency, modulation specification, and the like. SOLUTION: The reception apparatus comprises: a distributor 3 for distributing a reception signal; a delay line 4 for delaying one of distributed reception signals; a frequency/voltage converter 8 for outputting a voltage corresponding to a frequency of another distributed reception signal; an LO oscillation control unit 9 for controlling a frequency of an oscillation signal outputted by a local (LO) oscillator 6 in response to a voltage value from the frequency/voltage converter 8; a mixer 5 for mixing out the reception signal from the delay line 4 and the oscillation signal from the LO oscillator 6; a band selection filter 7 for selecting a passband of a signal form the mixer 5; a detector 10 for detecting a signal outputted from the band selection filter 7; and a signal processor 11 for selecting a band-pass filter of the band selection filter 7 so as to improve reception sensitivity based on a signal from the detector 10 and analyzing the reception signal.
