PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an announcement facility for a passenger conveyor, capable of providing proper sound to passengers getting onto the passenger conveyor without annoying passengers passing around a speaker. SOLUTION: This announcement facility is provided with a non-transparent panel 1 having a hole 6 provided close to a getting-on port to the passenger conveyor, and the speaker 9 on the outside of the non-transparent panel 1 to give music or announcement to passengers.
