<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting device for a flexible tube for holding an optical fiber cable which facilitates supporting of a newly laid optical fiber cable 13 when newly laying the optical fiber cable 13a together with an existing optical fiber cable 13b in an information box. <P>SOLUTION: The supporting device 10 for the flexible tube for holding the optical fiber cable is constituted of; two or more legs 14 which are inserted into a manifold 12 and have latching parts 23 engaged in step parts 33 in the manifold 12; a flange part 15 which is formed with a notched part 20 for inserting the optical cables 13 and a flexible tube 35 therethrough, and which blocks an opening of the manifold 12 when the latching part 23 is latched in the stepped parts 33 with one ends of the legs 14 fixedly bonded; a pair of cable protective covers 16 which are mounted on the notched part 20 and separate the flexible tube 35 from the existing optical fiber cable 13b; and supporting part 17 which bites the skin of the flexible tube 35 to hold it in-between, and abuts on the flange part 15 to restrain the flexible tube 35 from deviating in the direction of the abutment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
