<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for forming a coating, capable of forming the coating for an electron emitting source excellent in light emitting performance, wherein a carbon nanotube is suitably fixed without being burnt down during baking, and a method of forming the electron emitting source. <P>SOLUTION: This composition for forming an electron emitting source contains the carbon nanotube, a glass frit, an organic binder resin, and an organic solvent, and the softening point of the glass frit is not more than 500°C. A coating film obtained by removing the organic solvent from the composition for forming the electron emitting source applied to a substrate is baked in the temperatures of 400 to 450°C to remove the organic binder resin, and the coating containing the carbon nanotube and glass is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
