<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method which compensates an influence on current response by dead time, being able to reduce the entire volume/loss by utilizing/distributing the power of a plurality of power sources. <P>SOLUTION: This is a method of controlling a power converter 30 which is connected to a plurality of DC power sources and generates drive voltage by generating and synthesizing pulses from each output voltage of these DC power sources 10a and 10b and drives an AC motor. This includes a step of distributing the drive voltage of the AC motor 20 to each motor voltage commands each corresponding to the above plurality of DC power sources of the AC motor 20, a voltage-equivalent-to-distortion computing step of getting voltage equivalent to distortion caused by the dead time, a step of getting each compensating voltage, based on the above voltage equivalent to distortion and the voltage value of the above plurality of DC power sources, and a step of getting each motor voltage command stated above by adding each compensating voltage stated above to each motor voltage command stated above.
