Barrier movement arrangement human interface method and apparatus

The apparatus has a movable barrier operator (104) for controlling movement of a movable barrier (102). A barrier status sensor generates status signal representing status of the barrier. A receiver box (108) coupled to the barrier operator combines a status image with a display signal sent from a signal source (106). The receiver box sends the combined signal to a viewing monitor (110). An independent claim is also included for a method of monitoring a movable barrier.
