FIELD: agriculture. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves controlling animal availability and generating animal presence signal in heating zone; additionally generating threshold signal corresponding to absence of given animal from habitat; on the basis of results of comparison between animal presence signal and threshold signal of absence of given animal from habitat, generating signal corresponding to instant animals begin to leave habitat; beginning from said instant, counting-off time of guaranteed leaving by healthy livestock of habitat, said counting-off being presented in the form of delay signal corresponding to period during which animal presence is controlled, upon termination of which signal, generating time signal corresponding to presence of animal; on the basis of selecting by animal presence signal of signal corresponding to time of controlling the presence of animal, separating signal corresponding to time of controlling actual presence of animal in habitat; additionally generating time interval with number of signals of animal actual presence controlling time, during which number of signals of animal actual presence time is counted; setting maximal allowable number of signals of time during which actual presence of animal is controlled; comparing counted and set maximal allowable number of signals; on the basis of comparison results, generating emergency signal for personnel in habitat where non-standard animal is detected; dividing calculated number of signals by predetermined maximal allowable number of signals; on the basis of division results, delivering additional informational signal for personnel on the presence in concrete habitat zone of animal with non-standard behavior. Apparatus has animal habitat wherein animal presence sensor is positioned, first peak detector, first comparison circuit, first setter, signaling and indicating elements. Method and apparatus allow non-standard animals including weak, sick or murrain animals to be found out in habitat to thereby reduce stress situations for healthy animals. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in finding out of non-standard animals and provision for advantageous keeping conditions for healthy animals. ^ 3 cl, 5 dwg |
