摘要 The invention relates to a thrust device (1), in particular for a roller cam gear in a steering system. A first gear member (3) engages with a second gear member (4), both members being held in a frame (2). The thrust device (1), consists of a pressure part (5), which is mounted on the frame (2) so that it can be displaced along an axis (6) and is impinged by a spring element (7) in order to press the first and second gear members against one another. The aim of the invention is to configure the thrust device (1) with a simple construction, quiet operation and in a cost-effective manner, in order to compensate the wear and thermal expansion caused by the engagement of the gear members. To achieve this, the spring element (7) is configured using roller bodies (8, 8'), which are spring-loaded in an approximately transversal direction to the axis (6) of the pressure part (5), said roller bodies (8, 8') being supported on oblique surfaces (9, 9') between the pressure part (5) and a frame part (10) that is configured as an adjusting screw (16) or cover (17). In addition, the pressure part (5) can be axially spring-loaded by a compression spring (43).
