<p>A registration device, an image forming apparatus having the registration device, and a paper registration method are provided. The registration device includes, a registration roller, a registration lever, an actuator, and a returning unit. The registration lever contacts paper when the paper is drawn into the registration roller and moves between an alignment position and an open position. In the alignment position, the registration lever blocks the paper from proceeding further and aligns the paper. In the open position, the paper proceeds past the lever. An actuator selectively allows the registration lever to move from the alignment position to the open position. A returning unit returns the registration lever to an initial position.</p> |
