A Fresnel/echelon lens (3) is a lens with a negative focal length and consequently it is a biconcave negative lens with a virtual focal point, which can be superimposed with a focal point for a reflector (1) set away from the reflector, especially in a spot position for a spotlight with a Fresnel/echelon lens. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) A set of lighting equipment having a spotlight with a Fresnel/echelon lens; (B) and for a flashlight with a Fresnel lens spotlight.
