The assembly has a retention device for retaining a pair of shoes on a gliding or rolling board and having front, rear and braking units (3-8). A packing device has a longilineal tray (1) with a bottom (20) for receiving the units of the retention device. The tray has two end walls with support posts for forming a stack of packing devices. A film (2) made of transparent and retractable plastic material envelops the tray and the units.
