<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber for a sensor manufactured easily while having high sensitivity equivalent to a conventional fiber for the sensor, and a manufacturing method therefor, and a sensor system assembled with therewith. <P>SOLUTION: A sensor part 20 of an optical fiber is connected to a midway part of a main line body 10 of the optical fiber arranged as an optical transmission path. The sensor part 20 includes a sensor central part 23 having a core smaller than a diameter of a core 11 of the line body 10, and a sensor connection part 24 having a core shape for connecting different core diameters smoothly ranging over from the line body 10 to the sensor central part 23 between the line body 10 and the sensor central part 23, and light incident from the line body is leaked in the sensor part 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
