<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance measuring precision by accurately monitoring fluctuations in the quantity of the light from a lamp light source, without reducing the quantity of the light made incident on a living body from the lamp light source. <P>SOLUTION: This optical physiological data measuring instrument 1 is equipped with the lamp light source 2, an irradiation optical system 3 for allowing the light from the lamp light source 2 to enter inside the living body A, a detection optical system 5 for calculating the data of the living body A, on the basis of the absorbance characteristics in the living body A and a light quantity measuring optical system 4 for measuring the quantity of light of the lamp light source 2.
