PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flush toilet bowl which can prevent malfunctioning by a using state from occurring, and at the same time, can surely sense a human body. SOLUTION: In this flush toilet bowl 1 for which a human body sensor is arranged on the front surface section of a toilet bowl body 2, the flush toilet bowl 1 is constituted in such a manner that a light emitting element 4 which irradiates an area equivalent to an area A in which the human body sensor 3 senses a human body 5 is arranged. When the light-emitting element 4 irradiates the area equivalent to the area A in which the human body sensor 3 senses the human body 5, the strength of reflective light from an object to be measured of the human body 5 can be increased, and thus, the human body 5 can surely be sensed.
