PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning article to be manufactured in a simple manufacturing process and with high allowance for the accuracy of the mechanical positioning in the manufacturing process. SOLUTION: A cleaning body 11 of the cleaning article consists of a brush part 17 consisting of rattan fiber bundles, etc. and an inserted part 16 jointed to the brush part 17 with an inserted space 13 formed of a pair of sheets for inserting an insertion part of a handle. The brush part 17 and the inserted part 16 are jointed with an adhesive such as a hotmelt 20.
