<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a domain name providing service method inexpensively and easily providing a short domain name to a user. <P>SOLUTION: A domain name manager 10 constructs and manages a DNS server 11 for managing domain names having the same top domain ".○○" and a web server 12 for managing web pages to be accessed by the domain names. Right of using a second level domain ".▵▵" required by an intermediate domain acquiring person 20 is provided by charging the intermediate domain acquiring person 20, and right of using a third level domain "×××" required by a user 30, i.e. a domain name "×××.▵▵.○○", is provided to the user 30.
