摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that can increase the on-state current in a state where the leak current of a thin film transistor is suppressed within the allowable range. <P>SOLUTION: The display device provided with the thin film transistor 10 for driving pixel electrodes provided on an insulating substrate 11 is also provided with an interlayer dielectric 20 formed to cover a gate electrode 19 constituting the thin film transistor 10 and a thin film semiconductor layer 14, signal wiring 22 provided on the interlayer dielectric 20 in a state where the wiring 22 is connected to a source-drain region 17 through a connecting hole 21, and a lead-out electrode 23 provided on the interlayer dielectric 20 in a state where the electrode 23 is connected to another source-drain region 17' through another connecting hole 21'. The lead-out electrode 23 is arranged on the interlayer insulating film 20 in a state where the electrode 23 covers a prescribed range on an LDD region 16' from the source-drain region 17', so that the on-state current may increase within the allowable range of the leak current of the thin film transistor 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
