PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the possibility of accidental burn of a user when filling water into a household pressure steam generator. SOLUTION: Water is filled into a boiling chamber 12 in which steam is generated, through a funnel part 2 on which a folded upper part 1 is provided. The folded upper part 1 has an upper shaft 3 as the rotational center of a cam 4 and the cam 4 for contacting a cam shaft 6 incorporated into a lever 5 rotatable around a lever shaft 7. A rod 10 is provided slidably in a hole 8 of the lever 5 in the vertical direction. A filling/shut-off valve 9 is provided at the lower end of the rod. The filling/shut-off valve 9 shuts off a valve passage 11 via which the boiling chamber 12 is communicated with the funnel part 2 during a time when pressure steam exists in the boiling chamber 12, and it communicates the boiling chamber 12 with the funnel part 2 only when no pressure steam exists in the boiling chamber.
