PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a car washing machine capable of faithfully restoring a car contour according to detected car shape data and avoiding damage to a brush or a vehicle body without adding a mechanical function of compensating insufficient accuracy of a car shape detector. SOLUTION: The car washing machine has a car shape dada processing means 32c for first detecting points of change X5, X10 where the top face position of a car body changes from among the car shape data produced by a car shape data detecting means 32b and then correcting the top face position of the car body between the points of change on the basis of the relative movement distance before the points of change X5, X10 are detected.
