PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trimming die of a punching machine and a removing tool of a positioning pin devised to be capable of easily and efficiently carrying out removing work of the positioning pin to temporarily fix a surface plate on the trimming die, removing the positioning pin in a state of keeping mounting the trimming die on an upper press board and maintaining a positioning state of the trimming die and the surface plate. SOLUTION: A plural number of pieces of the positioning pins 15 to temporarily fix the surface plate 19 in a state where a ruled line blade 19 and a recessed part 25a match with each other are provided on the trimming die 3 free to connect and disconnect by inserting and fitting them in an engaging hole 25b formed on the surface plate 19.
