<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure capable of surely and stably connecting an electronic component to a flat cable and protecting a connecting point of the flat cable and a lead of the electronic component from external force such as bending stress of the flat cable. <P>SOLUTION: Of the connecting structure of the flat cable and an electronic component, in which lead 4 of the electronic component 3 are superposed on sites of flat conductors 2 of a flat cable 1 with an insulation coating 2a applied to the flat conductors 2 arrayed in parallel, and the leads and the flat conductors are connected by connector bodies 5, the connector body consists of a rear plate part 5a, piercing pieces 5b formed at each side of the rear plate part, and projection pieces 5c projected in a width direction of the rear plate part, and the piercing pieces of the connector body pierce the flat conductor of the flat cable to be bent inward and caulked at a rear side of the flat cable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
