A lamp driving circuit is provided to minimize power consumption by realizing high brightness with two lamps and the low brightness with one lamp. A lamp driving circuit(10) includes a first lamp(11), a second lamp(13), a first driving unit(12), and a second driving unit(14). The first lamp(11) realizes a low brightness part. The second lamp(13) realizes a high brightness part. The first and second driving units(12,14) control lighting and brightness of the first and second lamps(11,13). The first lamp(11) is driven by the first driving unit(12) if a signal below a predetermined brightness control signal is inputted from a system. A switching unit(15) receiving operation power from the first driving unit(12) conducts the power supplied from the system to the second driving unit(14) so that the first and second lamps(11,13) are driven by interlocking the first and second driving units(12,14) if a signal over the predetermined brightness control signal is inputted from the system. |
