<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a predetermined torque by sustaining the driving of a brushless motor even upon occurrence of abnormal turn-on of a switching element, line-to-line fault or line-to-ground fault of a motor harness, or the like, at the drive control section of an inverter, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The drive controller of a connectionless motor comprises a connectionless brushless motor having a rotor arranged with a permanent magnet, and a stator arranged with armature windings of a plurality of N phases oppositely to the rotor and independently from each other without connecting, an inverter circuit connected individually across each armature winding and supplying a drive signal thereto, a section performing drive control of the inverter circuit, a section for detecting current abnormality of each armature winding, and an abnormal time control section for driving the connectionless brushless motor while suppressing brake force being generated therein when current abnorality of one armature winding is detected at the current abnormality detecting section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
