PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna unit, an information terminal having the same and an antenna switching method capable of efficiently switching antennas. SOLUTION: The antenna unit includes a plurality of antennas, a state detection means for detecting the state of an own unit, and an antenna switching means for switching the plurality of antennas according to the detected state of the self-unit.
