PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of properly selecting and providing a content to be thought to be felt desirable by a user. SOLUTION: This content selection reproduction device has: a content storage part 14 storing data on a plurality of contents; and a selection tendency-deciding information storage part 14 storing information for deciding a content selection tendency of the user. The content selection reproduction device has: a first selection means selecting a reproduction candidate content from the content storage part on the basis of at least one of a psychological state of the user, an environment state, and user attribute information; and a second selection means selecting one reproduction candidate content from a plurality of reproduction candidate contents selected by the first selection means on the basis of the content selection tendency of the user decided from the information of the selection tendency-deciding information storage part.
