摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a grain-oriented magnetic steel sheet having forsterite film excellent in film appearance and film adhesion and excellent in magnetic characteristics by effectively preventing the film defect concered in the case of incorporating Bi as a sub-inhibitor. <P>SOLUTION: When the grain-oriented magnetic steel sheet is produced, Cr is incorporated in a silicon steel slab in the range of 0.03-1.0 mass%, magnesia is used as an annealing separator, and Li compound of 0.001-1.0 pts.wt. expressed in terms of metallic Li is incorporated in the magnesia of 100 pts.wt. In this case, when Bi content, Cr content and metallic Li content are expressed by x mass%, y mass% and z pts.wt. respectively, the formula of y&times;z/x<SP>2</SP>&ge;0.16 is satisfied.
