<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce audio and video to be both synchronized as being intended initially about each output path. <P>SOLUTION: A data processing device has a receiving unit for receiving a data stream and for outputting as an original stream or as a copied stream after being copied, a separating unit for extracting first data, its first time information, second data, and its second time data from the original stream, and for extracting first data, its first time information, second data, and its second time information from the copied stream, a first decoding unit for outputting the first data based on the first time information after decoding with respect to each stream, and a second decoding unit for outputting the second data based on the second time information. For synchronous reproduction of the first and second data, the device further has a delay setting unit for holding delay quantity information of a reproducing time of each stream, and for correcting the second time information based on the information and delaying the reproducing time of the second data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
