<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable radio terminal for which a case body length is a variable length and ground connection is surely performed between a plurality of case bodies and a method of grounding an antenna current in the portable radio terminal for which the case body length is the variable length. <P>SOLUTION: For the portable radio terminal, a metallic upper case body 1 and a lower case body 2 which houses a circuit board 3 provided with an antenna element 10 and a radio circuit 6 and is formed of an insulating material are connected so as to be freely expanded and contracted.
