PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion composition having good temperature stability and excellent in safety, while containing a silicone oil in a large amount. SOLUTION: This emulsion composition is given by using a polyoxyalkylene alkyl-modified organopolysiloxane and a 8-22C acylated polyglycerol having a straight-chain or branched-chain acyl group, wherein the acylated polyglycerol is a natural product and excellent in safety. A polyoxyalkylene group addition-type nonionic surfactant which causes a fear that it may irritate the skin is not used as a hydrophilic surfactant in the composition. Further, the emulsion composition preferably contains the silicone oil in an amount of≥50 wt% based on a total amount of oil components. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
