<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of remarkably improving the operability after reaching an upper limit magnification by enlarging operation or after reaching a lower limit magnification by reducing operation. <P>SOLUTION: An enlarging movement tool icon capable of selecting an enlarging movement tool, a reducing movement tool icon capable of selecting a reducing movement tool, a movement tool icon capable of selecting a movement tool for moving an image, and an area selection tool icon capable of selecting an area selection tool for selecting a predetermined area in the image are displayed on a liquid crystal display 3. When the enlarging movement tool icon is selected, processing for enlarging the image is performed based on a user's input operation, and when it reaches an upper limit magnification, the icon is switched to the movement tool icon.
