PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary operation type electric part capable of obtaining a waterproof property by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A container 2 and an axis hole 8 communicating with the container are formed at a housing 1 made of synthetic resin, and detection means such as a resistor base plate 5 and a slide piece 14 are housed in the container 2 whose open end is sealed with a cover 4 through a rubber ring 3. A rotation axis 11 integrated with an operation body 15 is inserted into the axis hole 8, and a gap necessary for a space between the axis hole 8 and the rotation axis 11 is sealed with an O-ring 13. An insert nut 9 is fixed to the housing as a mounting part at a prescribed position, and a through hole 10 communicating with the housing 2 is formed at the housing 1 located on the inner bottom face of the insert nut 9. The housing 1 is mounted to a prescribed position such as a bracket 18 by screwing a mounting screw 17 into the insert nut 9 when using it. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
