PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spindle motor consuming less power and capable of obtaining stable rotation, and a compact and thin recording disk driving device. SOLUTION: When accessing a recording disk, a magnetic head presses the recording disk to generate moment for tilting a rotary shaft in a specific direction. However, a mechanism for constantly adding bias moment in its reverse direction is provided to reduce maximum load moment, thereby the damage of a bearing is prevented, and a shaft damage is suppressed.
