<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a user can not obtain operating experience such as to perform conventional scale control by a delicate operation of the tip of a finger in an electronic musical instrument which is different from the conventional musical instrument, and in which training and skill are unnecessary in order to play the instrument, and since resolution of generated sounds is not so fine that reproducibility is poorer as compared to sounds of an actual musical instrument. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic musical instrument is provided with a converter for generating the musical scale by using the value obtained by measuring the distance from an object, thereby providing the electronic musical instrument using an electronic distance measuring unit capable of outputting the musical scale or musical scale data by means of a measured distance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
