PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a stepping motor which generates a driving force in which occurrence of ripple is suppressed (in proportion to command value), with a simple configuration, with no increase in the number of encoder. SOLUTION: The stepping motor comprises a division detecting part 50 and a sub division detecting part 60. An excitation current which is a sine wave characteristics or cosine wave characteristics controls excitation state of a excitation phase, for the position of a rotor detected by the division detecting part 50 and the sub division detecting part 60.
