PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a local exhaust device capable of reducing an influence to general ventilation by a 24 hour ventilation system. SOLUTION: The local exhaust device 5 is used along with the 24 hour ventilation system, and it is provided with an exhaust means 6 for exhausting oily smoke, steam, or the like generated by cooking, an air supply means 7 arranged near the exhaust means for supplying outdoor air, and an air supply amount adjusting means for adjusting an air supply amount of the air supply means in response to an exhaust amount of the exhaust means.
