PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal digital assistant with which a user can photograph a desired photographic range while confirming the entire actual field of view. SOLUTION: A digital camera 10 converts an image to be picked up with an image pickup means having a photographic optical system into image information of digital data, and causes a storage medium to store the image information to preserve the information. The digital camera 10 is provided with an image display unit 20 for displaying an image frame electronic image for defining the image frame of an image pickup range which can be picked up with the image pickup means, and a combiner 30 for reflecting a light from the image display unit 20 and transmitting a light from the actual field of view of the direction of line of sight of a photographer.
