PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of a lithographic printing plate, which can sharply cut the manufacturing loss developing during the stoppage of operation without lowering the manufacturing speed. SOLUTION: In a production line 10, after being fed to a cutting-off process 34 and then cut-off at predetermined intervals, a coiled support 14 fed from a feeder 12 is subjected to a surface working processing and a coating/drying processing while being continuously carried along the processing line of the surface working processing and the coating/drying processing under the condition that both the side end parts of the support 14 are grasped by a carrying means 60.
