<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further enhance efficiency in trapping suspended matter in the air while producing water vapor of finer particles. <P>SOLUTION: This air purifying apparatus and method for eliminating suspended matter in the air for purification, comprise an ejector 4 mixing air and a treatment solution; a nozzle 16 connected to the ejector 4 to jet a mixed fluid; and a multi-cylinder cyclone formed by coaxially arranging a plurality of cylinders with different diameters and consisting of an outer cylinder 11, one or more intermediate cylinders 12 and an inner cylinder 13, providing each cylinder with a lead-in port for vertically alternatively communicating with cylindrical spaces formed between the respective cylinders, providing a lead-in port at the lower part of the outer cylinder 11 to connect the nozzle 16, and connecting a blast pipe 7 to the inner cylinder 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
