<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device for purifying exhaust gas by action of high voltage to suppress thermal influence to the outside and suppress reduction of temperature inside the device. <P>SOLUTION: Cavity parts 4a, 14a are provided in outer peripheral electrodes 4, 14 as thermal insulating means for insulating the inside and the outside of the outer peripheral electrodes 4, 14 thermally to suppress thermal influence to the outside of the exhaust emission control device 1, suppress reduction of temperature in the inside, in particular, a small diameter cylinder of the outer peripheral electrodes 4, 14, and raise temperature of a catalyst device on the downstream side quickly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
