PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device for a fluorescent lamp which can be used for manufacturing a fluorescent lamp having an external electrode, and in particular, is simple in its series of work processes and capable of manufacturing in the mass-production of a good quality lamp. SOLUTION: The manufacturing device of the fluorescent lamp comprises a chamber 2 having a treatment space of a certain size, a cassette 4 which can install detachably a plurality of glass tubes G for lamp manufacturing corresponding to the treatment space side of the chamber, and a control means which controls the connecting state of an exhaust port L1, a gas supply port L2, and a mercury filling port so that gas and mercury can be filled by discharging air in the treatment space of the chamber.
