The proposed method and apparatus for selecting and feeding articles (2) to blisters or other container include feeding from a first hopper (3), filled with unselected articles (2), a second main hopper (4) with selected size-matching articles (2*). The selection is performed by a tapered inlet section (30a), inside which bigger articles (20) get jammed and stop. The stopped articles are removed by means of a shutter (6) hinged to each inlet section (30a). A sensor (7) detects when the flow of size-matching articles (2*) is interrupted thus operating the relevant shutter. According to a second embodiment the inlet sections are replaced by tubular portions (35). The shutters and tubular portions can be operated cyclically, thus avoiding the need for the sensor (7). <IMAGE> |
